The classic motor yacht Nenemoosha was built at the renowned Royal Van Lent Shipyard on Kaag Island in The Netherlands and delivered to her first owner in England in 1963. All of her near half-century of life has been spent on the River Thames, where she is equally happy either powering through London on the Tideway or gently cruising the upper reaches. The height of the summer season will find Nenemoosha at events such as Henley Royal Regatta, the Traditional Boat Rally and accompanying the unique ceremony of Swan Upping. She has recently completed a comprehensive 5-year programme of renovation and is widely acknowledged to be one of the most beautiful boats seen on the river today. The name Nenemoosha comes from the vocabulary of Longfellow's "The Song of Hiawatha" and means, rather appropriately for such a well-loved boat, sweetheart.
